The Zoo

Yesterday 23rd of October Room 1 and 7 ( year 7 and 8 ) went to the Auckland zoo to learn about pests and to see the animals + have fun.  The first animal that we saw was the giraffes ad the zebras #lol .  Next we got to see my brothers aka the meerkats.  I went into the tunnel to see them . More and more animals we saw / kinda more facts we had to write about in our books . We had our morning tea .  After that we saw more animals again.  Soon we had our lunch.  Spider Monkey feeding was at 1:00. ehhh it was satisfying  .  Then we went back to school

Cooking in Tech🍩🍰🍦🍧πŸͺ

At tech I was in a different  class for term 3 : YAY

I was with Mrs. Hamer .  Its was kinda nervousness but it was going to be fun for the next 11 weeks with her .  We were gonna make hot cakes  ( smaller version of pancakes ) . First we had to crack the egg and whisk it .  My partner was Sonny .  Then after  Sonny was whisked the egg ,  he then poured it into the flour .

I then started  whisking while adding 3 /4 of milk.  We then got the pan out and turned the oven to half .  We got the butter and put a quarter in the pan while spreading it around .  Once it was hot enough we poured a little bit of our  mixture and  made 4 hot cakes.

When we were finished we had to wash what we used and it took a long time .  We  then got a photo and ate our hot cakes (it was cold).

Back To Online Classes πŸ˜•

Auckland is back into lockdown .

Other cities are also in lockdown in New Zealand
Schools are closed and kids are doing online classes.
It is level 3 in Auckland ,  fast foods are still open though but social distance and sanitize .

Teachers are happy not to go to school : but they still do work for kids .  My view over lockdown is good because I get to sleep in ( sometimes )   .

Stay Home ❤
