Rangoli patterns is a type of artwork using different patterns and shapes and colors. Rangoli patterns originated from India, 

Google says: They are placed to welcome the Hindu Goddess Lakshmi - the goddess of wealth .

One of the tasks I was given for school learning was to create my own rangoli patterns. and here's how it turned out

At 10:00, my class had our google meets, to catch up on the learning we were going to be doing for the day. We had to do our tasks that were on Project perfect. It's a site where you can choose which subjects or complete tasks that your teacher has given you. This is a really good website in my opinion

Reflection For Term 3 Week 1

 Reflection For Term 3 Week 1

This week has been good, for the first week back since the school holidays. I got to catchup with my friends that I havnt talked to in a while in the holidays. Yesterday after morning tea, the year 7&8s had ki orahi. Fun and hard,  got muddy on both my shoes and uniform. On Tuesday, my class was doing transum maths on chromebooks. There was different games and puzzels.

What I didnt like :

• The class had to go on the mat, cause that wern´t listening
• The class was loud

Update For Term 2

 My wins in Term 2 were :

• Going to inter-schools for sports ( soccer, volleyball )
• Having a good report at the expected level
• Going to trips with the Year 7 and 8s
• Seeing how the school park was gonna be made ( #prefects )

My challenges for the 2 terms were :

• Maths.Writing, Reading 
• Art/footsteps ( dancing )
• Hosting assemblies
• Trying to help others with their work

Ants

Today I wrote about ants ... I found lots  of information and stats like 

• There are over 12,000 species of ants.

• The Bulldog ant is the most dangerous ant with its sting.  

and so on  there are lots of facts on ants on the internet.  Any animal that is big or small , there´s always information , on the web.  Ants are really small and look there is lots of information

on one ant but they are different types of species.

Ants have three main body parts  =

Head + thorax + abdomen = ant

Today is Tech .. YAY.. We will be on a video call with our teachers at tech .  Today I am researching on STEAMPUNK , with Mr Grundy .  We will only be focus on are 1st task.   The 1st task is to research about steampunk.

Today is Thursday.  3 weeks of lock down is almost finished. 
School has been back on and its kinda been easy and hard.

But you don't need to wear your uniform.  You could wear your home clothes.  And you do not need to walk home.

Its good lockdown is almost finished.  So that shops aren't packed and the lines will be gone...

Lockdown Poem

Lock downs fun , lock downs cool
The best thing about it is that there no school,

But we still get home work and we have to do chores,
1 chores 2 chores 3 chores more.

4 weeks lock down  I can't wait ,
At home its dark , it where I don't want to stay

In then I'll sleep in because I am tired,
I'll stay at home , I don't wanna get the virus. 

LOCKDOWN

OHHH NOOOO New Zealand is on a 4 level lock down .
Tonight at 11:55  All supermarkets will be  closed for 4 weeks.
Everybody will have to stay inside.  It might be a little bit scary because schools will be locked as well.  Lucky for room 7 
Their still gonna have home work because their doing it online.
just remember to keep calm and safe

We learnt how to write poems and do different poems. Some poems rhyme and some do not. Here's one of my poems that I wrote.

School Is Fun

School is cool,

School is fun,

Playing in the rain,

Playing in the sun

Learning new things,

Reading and maths,

Numbers in your head,

Words that  you have

Interval at 11,

Playing with friends,

Wishing and wishing like a genie,

That the fun won’t end

Doing our spelling,

Writing down ten,

Always hard to write ,

I’ll have to write it again

School is the best,

Because I like to be with my friends,

All the time I use,

Is school time I spend.

About Me

My name is Sebastian , don't mind who is next to me .  I like to play sports like soccer touch and netball even though it's for girls.  My favourite subject in school is basically all three.  My favourite thing to eat is anything but not anything.  I am a year 6.  My favourite friends are the one next to me and others.

The Day The Toys Were Alive/ friendly

Intro:

setting: school, room 10

problem: A book in the school is locked and I open it = The toys You've dreamed of comes to life.

Feelings: scared, haunted funny.

Solution: I find a secret key that was buried under room 10.

Feeling ,  still filled with  goosebumps.

I was at school doing fitness with the seniors we danced hip hop.  We danced and danced until 9:15 (when we went to class).  In room 10 we were very busy writing stories on our Chromebooks about fish it took an hour. 10:00= Our teacher Mr Baker was taking us to the library to get our new books.

I was all by my self looking for everyone.  I looked side still quiet. so I looked for my book.  Which then I found a book that said = The toys You've dreamed of comes to life!!!!!  There was no blur so I opened  the book to see if I wanted to read it.  I then opened the book when toy moved and looked at me with a smile on their faces.

"Who the hell are you"? We are the non friendly toys come play with us (with a creepy voice) . this ain't scary This  non scary non toys.  See you tomorrow non toys #not funny.  Wow I"m tired (yawn) Good Night .


"Bye mum!!.  Good morning kids, Good morning Mr stop, today we will be going to the library for SSR. Room 10 went to the library once more before the weekend starts.  "Please don't be there, please please and...... your still here why.  "Because we can't get back in the book. "Wait the was a lock, so there must be a key but where.

"you must go under the school where your class is and where you sit you must say the answer to this riddle= I am tall when I am short and I am short when I am tall.....pencil, candle "way too easy".... "how did you do that??????........ I used my phone. fine
 open it and get the key". 

  We had found the key and we went straight to the book and all the toys went back in the book when I then shut it hard when I looked at the book I still felt scared that the book might open again.
