Lockdown Poem

Lock downs fun , lock downs cool
The best thing about it is that there no school,

But we still get home work and we have to do chores,
1 chores 2 chores 3 chores more.

4 weeks lock down  I can't wait ,
At home its dark , it where I don't want to stay

In then I'll sleep in because I am tired,
I'll stay at home , I don't wanna get the virus. 

WATER FUN DAY

On Friday Ruapotaka school had a Water fun day.  The teachers had different games that had to do with water.

The house groups were mixed and off Ruapotaka went with the water fun day.There Were different games most kids were on the water slide . It was epic!   Lots of kids were getting wet and splashed with water.

In the end of the fun day  the Teachers 

tallied all the points together .

Kiwi Can

Kiwi Can

this year room 8a is having Kiwi Can a program that we are having.  Kiwi can is about learning and having fun.  We  have catch phrases like Kiwi can says speak to me truthfully and that is could honesty.  We have fun games for our energizer.  We learn about words like honesty , reliability , and our theme is Integrity.  Is is really fun and a good thing to have.

TENNIS!

ON TUESDAY ROOM 10 AND ROOM 9 HAD TENNIS TOGETHER .  WE STARTED AT THE BASKETBALL HOOP. WE HAD TRY AND GET THE BALL.  IT WAS A CRACK UP BECAUSE SOME PEOPLE HAD TO PULL THE BALL OFF THE OTHER PERSON.
THEN WE STOOD IN A SPOT.  

PETER (COACH) SHOWED US HOW TO POSITION OURSELVES AND HOW TO HIT THE BALL.  WE ALL THEN GAVE A SHOT SOME BALL WENT TO THE OTHER PERSON SOME WENT FAR AND WE ALL HAD A GREAT TIME SOME EVEN GOT TO GO TWICE.

they WERE MORE LUCKY BECAUSE THEY WERE AT A NUTRITION LESSON.

We all had a great time

The Wake Up Call

I woke in the morning... by my mum because she yelled.... Get! Up!, Get! Ready!  My brother got ready first, while I was folding my my blanket.  It was then my turn to get ready. I wore black pants and a red top .                                                          Fatness

We then jumped into the van with my brothers and sisters.  My parents then started the car... off we went.  We first went to McDonald'sand ate as much as we could. I ate two big macs with large fries and a medium size Fanta .

Chipmunks

We then all got back into the van and drove to my great grandpa's house.  My uncle came with his two children.  Then off we went again.  We drove through Pakuranga and Botany to get to chipmunks.  finally we made it and we went inside the place and we started to play.

Super Fun Time

We had a super! ball battle which was COOL!, we went on the massive slide a lot of times, which was EXTRA COOL!. I then got tired and sleepy, then everyone did.. so we all went back home and had a good nap.

Conclusion

I was so happy because it was FUN!

                                                                                                                                                                                                            

First Day Of Hip-Hop Class

Today at the multipurpose room we met Jess(Hip Hop teacher) and we first played music statues.  To play we must dance (no walking) and there will be music and it will pause and you have to freeze (you can breath and blink) if you move you lose.  It was really fun Our winners were Agueer and Alamoni the best at freezing.

We then started a set.  We went through the steps a few time and put in new moves, we even went with the music.  There were lots of people sweating.  We kept adding moves which made it harder but we tried our best.

In the end we finished by saying goodbye we then lined up and some of us raced to go have a drink.

How To Sketch a portrait Of A Friend

To sketch your friend You will need:

• 2 peaces of paper

• sharp pencil

• ruler

Steps:1.First draw a medium size oval for the head. Make sure that the oval is not t-o-o small or if it's in the corner , it must be big enough so you can put your mouth,nose,and things.  If  you make a  mistake start with your other peace of paper.

2.Then use your ruler and make small line, not a straight just little lines going down.  want's you have done that you will need to do another line going across.  Then do another line under your line that went across .

3.Now you are going to draw you'r friend's eyes.  They might be big,or they might small but if you'll going draw them any size you must put gap in the line going down.  You don't want you'r friend's eyes almost to their ear's, you want them to be to be in the middle, but not touching each other.

4.Next you'r going to draw their nose.  if you don't know how to draw their nose then just put two lines that is in the middle line.  Then put a heart but just the top.  This  may be a little tricky so ask a teacher or someone in you'r family.

5.Finally you are going to draw  their mouth.  Their mouth could be a heart shape, if it is then draw a heart but wide.  Want's you've done that you can draw your hair.  Their hair could be curly or even long.
